I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and have Excel 2010 (32-bit). I have installed the latest Busieess Functions (v1.57) plugin and when I load Excel afterward I get the BF splash screen and then a second or two later it crashes Excel. Nothing I can do seems to sort this problem. I have tried this on two computers with precisely the same result (albeit one was a Mac running VMWare but the other was a proper Windows OS).

Any thoughts?

oh crumbs!
OK, well it doesn't do that on my Windows 64 installation, so there is hope!
A couple of things to check
1. Are there any other addins loaded?
2. You probably had to manually register BF with Excel. Please confirm. When you did, you selected the busfun.xlam file? (Not the xla file).
3. Maybe you registered the xll file. It should still be OK.
4. BF was installed to the Program Files(X86) directory and thats where the file is that is being loaded?

You should try the latest BF which fully supports 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows and Excel. A fair bit of robustness testing was done and a few changes made to internal calls to Excel, usually the reason for crashes.

BF does definitely NOT work on a Mac because there isn't an Excel C++ SDK for the Mac.
